Card expired or switched banks? You can update the payment method tied to your Traceback subscription in just a couple of minutes. Because billing runs through the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe, you update your card in whichever one you used to subscr

Update Payment on iPhone (App Store)

  • Open Settings and tap your name.
  • Tap Payment & Shipping (you may need to sign in).
  • Add a new card or reorder your payment methods.
  • Save your changes.

Apple uses this payment method for all your subscriptions, including Traceback.

Update Payment on Android (Google Play)

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods.
  • Tap Add payment method or edit an existing one.
  • Save.

Update Payment on Stripe

  • Find your Traceback billing or receipt email from Stripe.
  • Open the billing/account management link included in it.
  • Update your card details on the secure Stripe page.
  • Save your changes.

Tips

  • Update your card before your next billing date so your subscription doesn't lapse.
  • For privacy and security, Traceback never stores your full card number. Payment details are handled directly by Apple, Google, or Stripe.
  • If you're not sure which one you used, check your receipt email, it'll say App Store, Google Play, or Stripe.

Troubleshooting

My payment failed and my subscription stopped. Update your card using the steps above, then your subscription should resume on the next billing attempt. Apple and Google usually retry automatically.

I updated my card but it's still charging the old one. On iPhone and Android, make sure the new card is set as the default or top of your payment list. The store charges whatever's set as primary.

I can't find my Stripe billing link. Search your email for “Traceback” or “Stripe receipt.” If you still can't find it, contact support and we'll help you locate your billing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change my card for Traceback?

Update it in the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe, wherever you subscribed. Traceback doesn't store card details itself.

Why does Traceback ask me to update payment in my phone settings?

Because Apple and Google handle the billing for app subscriptions. The card on file lives in your store account, not in Traceback.

Will updating my payment method interrupt my subscription?

No. Your plan stays active as long as a valid card is on file before the next charge.

Is it safe to enter my card details?

Yes. Payments go through Apple, Google, or Stripe's secure systems. Traceback never sees or stores your full card number.
